Harrier's Trophy Haul

ROCHDALE HARRIERS returned from the recent multi-terrain race organised by Prestwich Athletic Club with no less that three trophies.

The 6 mile course included challenging climbs and both on- and off-road sections.

Rochdale’s Kirstin Johnson was delighted with her first ever victory.   She commented:

 “I found out about the race from ladies coach Brenda Robinson.   Brenda brought the entry forms to the changing rooms at Springy Park a few weeks before the race and I decided to enter.  I'm still in shock at having won!!”   

Clubmate Tracey Smith was equally pleased to be third lady finisher.

Matthew Proctor, 17, finished fourth overall and took the cup for the first Junior Male finisher.   Matthew missed the prize giving but the ladies collected the three trophies for Rochdale.
