Flights are available from Manchester Airport and from Leeds/Bradford Airport both flying out at 07-30am with Jet2.com to Venice Marco Polo Airport and Tuesday only with Ryanair at 11-25am from Leeds/Bradford

Ryanair have only one flight a week to Venice from Leeds/Bradford Airport on a Tuesdays (£61.00 return)

However All the above prices includes hand luggage only and “hold luggage” attract extra cost plus an “admin fee” and are likely to go up as we approach September.
Transport
Transport from Marco Polo International Airport, Venice to Paluzza (180 kilometres) is being provided by the Race Organisers for pick-ups on Thursday 15 September only and to return them back to Marco Polo on Sunday 18 September only. The cost of which is 25 Euros for the coach or 50 Euros for a mini-bus for up to 20 people
The alternative to the above is to hire a car at Marco Polo Airport and would cost in the region of £180 for Medium size car (4 passengers) plus petrol for a week
However, there are only two flights to Venice Marco Polo on Thursday 15 September
£111.49 single from Leeds/Bradford and
£98.49 from Manchester.
Return flights on Sunday to Leeds/Bradford is £71.49 and
£119.49 to Manchester
Therefore the cost of return flights from Manchester is £218.00
(Thursday to Sunday) and
£183.00 from Leeds/Bradford
Car Park Charges
Car park charges at Manchester Airport is approximately £36 for a week and £38 for a week at Leeds / Bradford.
Accommodation
The Local Tourist Board has made arrangements with local hotels and have secured 500 beds / places in the locality but only from Thursday – Saturday (i.e. 3 nights) of which 320 have already been booked.
However the Area Tourist Board have now quoted the following prices per day
1 Double Room with Half Board in a 3 star hotel at 48 euros per person per day They require a Deposit of 50 euros paid to them on behalf of the Hotels and for this to be paid by the 31st of July
General Information
By Train from Venice
“Carnia” is the closest railway station on the Rome-Vienna line then you would have to take a bus
Alternatively alight at Udine and take a regular bus, which run every hour and takes 45 mins
Race Entry Fee
