Following our fabulous races in the Italian Dolomites, Austrian Alps, etc., this year’s Rochdale Harriers’ foreign race is the World Masters Mountain Mountain Running CHampionship in Poland on Saturday 28th August. The course is approximately 6 miles up a mountain.

We are staying 5 nights in total: 3 nights at the race HQ in Korbielow and 2 nights in Krakow city (Ibis Hotel Centrum):
we fly out on Thursday 26th August from Liverpool to Krakow, Flights currently cost about £180 return. Race accomodation deadline end July 2010. E-mail noclegi@biegnapilsko.pl The organisers have arranged return transportation from/to airport for 30 Euros Specialist running insurance highly recommended (available from Oval) Race on Saturday Travel to Krakow Sunday On Monday some of us are going to Auschwitz (£22 for English guide, inc transportation, 6hrbook
via Krakow City Tours) or sight seeing in Krakov Return Tuesday 31st Aug.Minimum age for the WMRA races is 35. However there are also some ‘open’ races on the program . A copy of my e-mail and the reply are shown below.
