Hotel Waldheim booked.
Renault Espace booked from Venice airport, thanks to Limpet.
John is driving to East Midlands airport. Need to pre-book parking for best price.
To do list:
1. Enter race online (Limpet only) - 34.20 Euros including 1.50 local insurance (optional) and card fee.
Entry takes 10-15 minutes and its in English. Also need to decide team name and register as a team.
2. Strongly recommend specialist running insurance through Oval, about £15, as used by UK athletics.
Ordinary travel insurance probably will not cover runners (but OK for Ian Slater)3. Also take your FREE EHIC card (= E111) for free or cheaper European healthcare if needed abroad
(available online here). It is worth applying for the card now even if it does not arrive in time because you can call the helpline number if needed.
