TWENTY NINE of our young athletes braved terrible weather last Friday to compete at the Springhill track in a club track and field gala. 

All the athletes competed very well, each doing a run, a jump and a throw and there were some tremendous performances across all the events and age groups. Some achieved personal best performances despite the bad weather conditions

Under 11 Boys – Lewis Thirsk

Under 11 Girls – Naomi Richardson

Under 13 Boys – Tom Kramer

Under 13 Girls – Ashleigh Rawstron

Under 15/17 Boys – Georgio Costa

Under 15/17 Girls – Gina Thornton
