Five Harriers to Compete in the
World Long Distance Mountain
Running Challenge

FOUR MONTHS of training will be put to the test this Saturday, 26th April, as five members of Rochdale
Harriers & A.C.  compete in the 2008 World Long Distance Mountain Running Challenge.

This year the race takes place on the gruelling 23.5 mile/5000ft Yorkshire Three Peaks course
Over 900 qualifying competitors are taking part, representing 19 countries and travelling from as far
afield as Australia and the USA.   In 1969 this race was won by our very own Colin Robinson.

The 2008 Rochdale team consists of  Paul Leary, Norman Eames, Dennis Lucas, Stephen Leak and
