Three of Rochdale's young athletes made their debut in the Sale Open Indoor meeting series at Sportcity on the 19th December and put in excellent performances. All were in the U17 womens section. 

Rebecca Jones producing a best of 4.44m in the long jump for 2nd place whilst Stephanie Miller's best was 4.15m for 3rd place. In the 60m race, Laura Langley finished a close 2nd in her heat in 8.85sec, with Stephanie finishing 4th in 9.49. In the 400m, Laura comfortably won her race in a very good time of 64.6sec, the 4th best U17 time of the night.
